These pegs are 5.4cm long and the wire diameter is 1.5mm. Their strength equals the strength of your normal wooden or plastic pegs and so they are weaker than the normal grade 201 stainless steel wire pegs, which are 5.8cm long and have a wire diameter of 1.75mm. Elderly persons or persons with arthritis should be able to handle them, but they still do a good job, because they open about as wide as the normal ones. Because they are a little bit smaller and the wire is a bit thinner they are cheaper, which makes them a good alternative for not too windy places.
